Hi-Z develops, manufactures, and sells commercial thermoelectric generating modules for converting heat into electricity. Currently, Hi-Zs modules are being used to generate electricity in a varied array of applications all over the world. The potential market for these modules is well over $1 billion. Hi-Z modules are used for waste heat recovery from vehicles and furnaces. In addition, Hi-Z is developing thermoelectric generators for remote power applications that use oil, gas or nuclear isotopes as the heat sources. These applications run the gamut of power for cellular telephones, pellet stoves, heaters and portable appliances to powering transmitters in Micro Air Vehicles and Space Probes.
