The Holding Company was formed in 2001 for the purpose of acquiring Bank of Lakewood and Mission Hills Mortgage Corporation. Mission Hills Mortgage Corporation operated as a subsidiary of the Bank until they merged in October 2002. It now operates as a division of Gateway Business Bank under the name of Mission Hills Mortgage Bankers.
