The Invest in Greece Agency is planning an to visit California from September 28th to October 2nd to hold a series of one-on-one business meetings. In these meeting we aim to present the business case that the Greek ICT market has to offer to ICT companies that plan to establish/expand their international operations:
• Top-notch ICT professionals at extremely competitive rates
• A strong investment incentive framework (state grants) that could reach up to 60% of the project's capital expenditure
• Commercial penetration of the South Eastern European and European Union markets through Greece
• The potential for research / business partnerships with Greek research center and enterprises
• The Greek Fiber-to-the-Home project that is planned to launch next year (Estimated at €2.1bn, it aims to connect 2m households and businesses via fiber optic).

As Caltrade seeks to find collaborations and secure opportunities in international markets for its members, we were wondering whether Caltrade could assist us in locating the right counterparties that would benefit from holding a meeting with us. We have seen that there is an online Caltrade directory of companies, but we were wondering whether Caltrade could assist us in locating the companies for which it would make most sense to meet with us.

Due to the combination of an attractive talent pool with generous investment incentives, Greece is a credible alternative for overseas expansion for Californian based ICT companies that operate in:
• Software development
• Hardware design
• Fiber optic components development and fiber optic infrastructure integration
Actually, any company that has a strong R&D arm and bases its future growth on technology development should find meeting with us useful.
